Manchester man Raheem Nigge Taylor, 28, is headed to federal prison for 36 months after being caught with two loaded firearms he had no legal right to possess. The sentence, handed down in Concord, marks the end of a swift federal case built on digital recklessness and old criminal records.
Court documents reveal the bust went down on April 2, 2021, when investigators executed a search warrant on Taylor’s Manchester residence. The tip? Social media posts showing Taylor flaunting not one, but two firearms—images that matched the actual weapons found during the raid. Officers also seized multiple rounds of live ammunition. Taylor admitted on the spot the guns were his.
That admission sealed his fate. As a convicted felon, Taylor is legally barred from possessing any firearm. Yet there he was—posing with loaded weapons like a digital-age outlaw. He pleaded guilty on July 27, 2021, and faced the consequences without a trial.
Acting U.S. Attorney John J. Farley didn’t mince words: “To keep Manchester safe from violent crime, it is imperative that we keep guns out of the hands of criminals.” He emphasized that Taylor’s disregard for the law—brandishing guns online—wouldn’t go unanswered. “Such unlawful conduct will not be tolerated,” Farley said.
The FBI echoed the warning. Joseph R. Bonavolonta, Special Agent in Charge of the Boston Division, said, “If you’re a convicted felon, like Raheem Nigge Taylor, who blatantly brandished two firearms, along with multiple rounds of ammo on social media, you should know you’re not going to get away with it.” The message is clear: post it, own it, do the time.
The case was a joint operation by the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Manchester Police Department. Prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Charles Rombeau, it falls under Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), the DOJ’s nationwide push to dismantle violent crime networks. In Taylor’s case, the weapon wasn’t just the gun—it was his own social media feed.
