Shane Austin Loretto, a 32-year-old Zuni man, fired a shotgun into an occupied vehicle on March 20, 2025, in Zuni, New Mexico, with the intent to cause bodily harm. The shooting left a passenger, John Doe, with serious injuries to the face and neck. Loretto’s motives behind the attack are unclear, but the consequences of his actions are undeniable.
