PHOENIX, Ariz. – In a major crackdown, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona charged 226 individuals with immigration-related crimes. The charges include 117 cases of aliens illegally re-entering the United States and 95 cases of aliens illegally entering the United States.
In a separate effort to combat human trafficking, the U.S. Attorney’s Office charged 14 individuals with smuggling illegal aliens into and within the District of Arizona. These crimes carry significant penalties and will be aggressively prosecuted.
The charges come after a week of enforcement operations from March 28 through April 3, 2026. The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Arizona has made it clear that they will not tolerate immigration-related crimes and will work tirelessly to bring those responsible to justice.
