Cuyahoga County, Ohio – A massive drug trafficking operation has been dismantled in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, after a lengthy investigation led to the indictment of 37 individuals.
According to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office, the indictment charges the defendants with various crimes, including Aggravated Trafficking in Opioids, Aggravated Trafficking in Fentanyl, and Aggravated Trafficking in Heroin.
The investigation, which was led by the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office and the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office, resulted in the seizure of over six kilograms of drugs, including fentanyl, heroin, and other illicit substances.
The indictment is linked to three overdose deaths, and the investigation is ongoing. The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office has not released the names of the defendants due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.
