A Poteau woman has admitted to her role in a large-scale drug operation in eastern Oklahoma. Laci Marie Fox, 27, of Poteau, Oklahoma, pleaded guilty to drug conspiracy and methamphetamine distribution charges in federal court.
According to court documents, Fox was involved in a conspiracy to distribute at least 50 grams of methamphetamine in the Eastern District of Oklahoma and elsewhere. The charges arose from an investigation by the Poteau Police Department, the District 16 Narcotics Task Force, and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics.

The Honorable Kimberly E. West, U.S. Magistrate Judge, accepted Fox’s plea and ordered a presentence investigation report.
Assistant United States Attorney Christopher Wilson represented the United States in the case.
Fox’s sentencing is pending the completion of the presentence investigation report. The charges against her are punishable by up to 40 years imprisonment, a fine of up to $5,000,000, or both.
