Connersville Photographer Mikell Shepard Hit with Child Exploitation Charges

INDIANAPOLIS- The grim tale of Mikell Shepard’s descent into pedophilic horror unfolded when the 22-year-old Connersville, Indiana photographer was charged by federal complaint with Sexual Exploitation of a Child and Possession of Child Pornography.

A report from Google, acting on a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), revealed over 400 files believed to depict minors in sexually explicit acts. The files, reviewed by Google, shocked with their depravity, showing over a thousand lascivious images of children.

On October 24th, HSI Indianapolis executed a state search warrant at Shepard’s residence, unearthing a trove of sinister imagery. These horrors, produced by Shepard in both professional and personal capacities, including while babysitting, were cataloged with the youngest victim being just 9 months old.
