Amy Reardon, a 33-year-old North Haverhill woman, has pleaded guilty to participating in a fentanyl drug trafficking conspiracy. The crime took place in Concord, New Hampshire on March 14, 2018.
According to court documents, Reardon intended to travel from New Hampshire to Lawrence, Massachusetts to purchase 140 grams of a controlled substance. Agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration conducted surveillance in the area and observed Reardon’s vehicle arrive and depart.
Agents informed a New Hampshire State Trooper about their surveillance observations, and the trooper stopped Reardon’s vehicle for a traffic violation. Reardon admitted to having fentanyl in her possession and was found to have approximately 143 grams of fentanyl.
Reardon is scheduled to be sentenced on January 4, 2019. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Georgiana L. Konesky, Seth R. Aframe, and Debra M. Walsh.
The investigation involved multiple law enforcement agencies, including the DEA, the New Hampshire State Police, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, and the Massachusetts State Police.
The case is part of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) program, which supplies supplemental federal funding to federal and state agencies involved in the identification, investigation, and prosecution of major drug trafficking organizations.
