Federal prosecutors in the District of Delaware announced that Anderson was sentenced to 213 months in federal prison following a conviction for drug distribution in connection with a crack cocaine trafficking operation in Delaware.
According to court documents filed in United States v. Anderson (Case No. 1:03-cr-00036), Anderson was involved in the distribution of approximately 57 pounds of crack cocaine throughout the Delaware region. The investigation, which spanned several months, revealed that Anderson operated as part of a larger drug trafficking network that was responsible for distributing significant quantities of controlled substances across multiple jurisdictions.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), with assistance from local law enforcement agencies. Federal agents conducted surveillance operations and utilized confidential informants to build the case against Anderson. The investigation included wiretap evidence, controlled purchases, and the execution of multiple search warrants that yielded substantial quantities of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
U.S. District Judge Barbara Young imposed the sentence after considering the federal sentencing guidelines, the nature and circumstances of the offense, and Anderson’s criminal history. In addition to the prison term, the court ordered a fine of $169,000 and 2 years of supervised release following release from custody.

Under federal sentencing guidelines, Anderson must serve at least 85 percent of the imposed sentence before becoming eligible for release. There is no parole in the federal prison system.
