A 22-year-old groom has been charged with murder after allegedly shooting his friend during a bachelor party in Texas, authorities said.
According to the source, Austin Smith was arrested and charged with murder in connection with the shooting that occurred on April 10, 2024 in Grayson County, Texas.
Deputies said the shooting happened during a bachelor party at a private residence. The victim’s name has not been released.
Smith is being held at the Grayson County Jail on a $1 million bond. It is unclear if he has hired an attorney.
