PHILADELPHIA, PA – Mark Wills, 61, of Hulmeville, Pennsylvania, is facing a lifetime behind bars after being indicted on a litany of horrific charges relating to the exploitation of children. Wills, who also went by the online aliases “Lorenzo Guerra,” “Alex Harrison,” “kevthompson2009,” “18kevinmcbride,” and “leonardobrickma,” allegedly used the internet to prey on vulnerable minors.
United States Attorney David Metcalf announced the indictment, detailing three counts of using interstate commerce facilities to entice minors to engage in sexually explicit conduct, three counts of manufacturing child pornography, and four counts of distributing it. Further charges include one count of possession of child pornography, two counts of cyberstalking of a minor, and a chilling count of interstate threats. Wills has been held in federal custody since August 12th, following his initial arrest.
The indictment paints a disturbing picture of Wills’ actions between June 2024 and January 2025. He allegedly used online platforms to “knowingly persuade, induce, entice and coerce” three minors – identified as Minor #1, Minor #2, and Minor #3 – all under the age of 18, into sending him sexually explicit images. The depravity extends further, as the indictment alleges Wills distributed and possessed visual depictions of these minors, with at least one victim being prepubescent and under the age of 12.
But the exploitation didn’t stop at images. Wills is accused of escalating his behavior into outright harassment and intimidation. The indictment details how he sent electronic communications to Minor #1 and Minor #3 with the intent to injure, harass, and cause substantial emotional distress. The most egregious allegation is a direct threat to harm Minor #1 and her family if she refused to continue producing and sending sexually explicit material.
This case is being prosecuted under the umbrella of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in 2006 by the Department of Justice aimed at combating child sexual exploitation. Led by U.S. Attorney’s Offices and the Criminal Division’s Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section (CEOS), the project focuses on identifying, rescuing, and prosecuting perpetrators like Wills. Information about Project Safe Childhood can be found at projectsafechildhood.gov.
If convicted on all counts, Wills faces a maximum possible sentence of life imprisonment. The investigation was a collaborative effort between the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, the FBI, and Homeland Security Investigations. Assistant United States Attorney Nelson S.T. Thayer, Jr. is leading the prosecution. It’s crucial to remember that these are allegations, and Wills is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
