Camden, NJ – In a brazen crime spree, two Camden men have been charged in connection to the armed robbery of two gas stations in Camden County, New Jersey.
Paul Rogers, 27, and Kamau Bradshaw, 19, are each charged with one count of Hobbs Act robbery, which carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
According to court documents, the two masked individuals, carrying an AR-style rifle, robbed a gas station in Pennsauken, New Jersey, on September 14, 2021. They obtained cash and cigarettes while brandishing the firearm.
Two days later, a robber wearing what appears to be the same grey Nike sweatshirt and brandishing an AR-style rifle obtained several hundred dollars after committing another armed robbery of a gas station in Haddon Township, New Jersey.
Law enforcement officers executed a federal search warrant at the Camden residence, where Rogers and Bradshaw were present, and recovered several items, including a duffle bag, an AR-style rifle, a grey Nike sweatshirt, scuffed tan work boots, and a tan hooded sweatshirt with ‘REACTIVE’ printed on the sleeves.
Bradshaw was wearing striped boxershorts consistent with those worn by one of the robbers during the robbery on September 14, 2021.
Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig credited the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, Camden Field Office, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office, and other law enforcement agencies for their investigation leading to the charges.
