SCRANTON, PA – In a brazen display of drug trafficking, Anthony Moore, 31, of Hanover Township, was sentenced to 130 months in prison for distributing massive quantities of crack cocaine.
According to documents obtained by Grimy Times, Moore was indicted in January 2013 for the illicit distribution of heroin, cocaine base (crack) involving 500 grams or more of cocaine. His plea agreement in October 2013 sealed his fate.
Moore’s downfall was orchestrated by the DEA, who conducted a thorough investigation that led to his guilty plea. Assistant United States Attorney Todd K. Hinkley handled the prosecution, bringing Moore to justice for his crimes.
The 130-month sentence, equivalent to 11 years, was handed down by U.S. District Court Judge Robert D. Mariani in Scranton. Moore will also serve a four-year term of supervised release following his incarceration.
