D.C. Duo Snagged in Bank Heist Blitz

In a daring operation, authorities have brought to justice two young bank robbers who terrorized the nation’s capital. Two D.C. youths, identified as Carrigan and Miskin, were arrested in separate incidents on December 15, 1950, in connection with a string of daring bank robberies. Carrigan, a painter with a questionable past, had been employed by a local contractor after serving in the Merchant Marine. However, the 25-year-old’s stint in the Army was short-lived, and he was inducted into the military just days before his arrest at Fort Meade, Maryland.
