Billings, Montana resident Daniel Thomas Morrow was sentenced to 120 months in prison for his role in a methamphetamine trafficking operation.
Morrow, 57, appeared in U.S. District Court in Billings on January 9, 2013, where he was sentenced by Senior U.S. District Judge Jack D. Shanstrom.
Morrow was found guilty of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
According to court documents, Morrow was involved in a scheme to distribute methamphetamine in the Billings area. He was arrested on October 14, 2011, along with co-defendants Cassandra Seal and Ali Khan.
Seal and Khan have also pleaded guilty to federal crimes, with Seal having been sentenced and Khan awaiting sentencing.
Morrow was sentenced to 120 months in prison, followed by 8 years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay a special assessment of $200.
The investigation was a cooperative effort between the Billings Big Sky Safe Streets Task Force, the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Task Force, and the Montana Division of Criminal Investigation.
