In a shocking turn of events, a New Britain court dismissed charges against Boleslaw Fedorczuk, a 14 Grove Street resident, in connection with the fatal accident that claimed the life of 6-year-old Jennie Pomnichowska on Broad Street last Sunday. The little girl, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Czeław Pomnichowski of 173 Broad Street, was struck by Fedorczuk’s speeding automobile, which eyewitnesses claimed was driving at a moderate pace. However, without warning, Jennie darted out from behind a parked car and into the path of Fedorczuk’s vehicle, leading him to apply the brakes within mere feet of the impact. The driver, visibly distraught, exhibited ‘every evidence of care in driving,’ according to eyewitness testimony.
