Omaha Man Gets 90 Months for Drug Conspiracy
A 31-year-old Omaha man has been sentenced to 90 months in federal prison for conspiring to distribute methamphetamine, fentanyl, and marijuana.
According to court documents, Dominique Thomas was involved in a conspiracy to distribute the drugs in the Omaha area from about July 2016 to April 2020.
During the time of the conspiracy, Thomas was stopped by police with about 86 ecstasy pills on January 12, 2019, and officers intercepted THC vials that a co-defendant sent from Stockton, California, to Thomas in August 2019.
In addition, the Omaha residence where Thomas lived at one point served as a drug involved premises used by the conspirators to facilitate the drug trafficking.
The case against Thomas was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Omaha Police Department, and the Bellevue Police Department.
Thomas is not the only one who has been charged in the case. Co-defendants Ty-Sean Nunn, George Buck, Willis Parker, Anthony Hill-Gaines, and Jerrell Jackson have all pled guilty to charges related to the conspiracy.
However, only co-defendant Terrance Traynham is still pending trial. Traynham was previously sentenced to 106 months in federal prison for conduct related to this conspiracy.
