LoreLei Lantz, Theft of Mail by a Postal Employee, Pennsylvania 2024

PITTSBURGH, PA – A Washington County resident is facing federal charges after allegedly pilfering cash from a greeting card while employed by the United States Postal Service. LoreLei Lantz, 51, of Elrama, Pennsylvania, was indicted by a federal grand jury on February 28th, Acting United States Attorney Soo C. Song announced today.

The one-count indictment accuses Lantz of theft of mail by a postal employee. Federal prosecutors allege that Lantz, while on duty, stole $60.00 in U.S. currency from a greeting card entrusted to the postal service for delivery.
