FRESNO, Calif. — In a shocking turn of events, Eugene Dajohn Marshall, 31, of Fresno, was handed a harsh sentence by U.S. District Judge Dale A. Drozd for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
On Oct. 15, 2019, law enforcement officers responded to a disturbing domestic violence call at Marshall’s residence, where they discovered a previously convicted felon openly flaunting the law by possessing a loaded firearm and additional rounds of ammunition.
The alarming discovery sparked a thorough investigation led by Homeland Security Investigations and the Fresno Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Jessica A. Massey took on the case, ensuring justice was served.
