Andre Marvin Marneal Jenkins, aka ‘Meech’, a 28-year-old from South Charleston, has pleaded guilty to his role in a major fentanyl trafficking operation in Charleston, West Virginia. Between June 2024 and May 2025, Jenkins conspired to distribute large quantities of fentanyl and methamphetamine in the area. His crimes involved arranging to distribute fentanyl pills to co-conspirators and customers, and assisting in the distribution of fentanyl powder.
Jenkins’ downfall came on April 10, 2025, when law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at a Charleston apartment, seizing a loaded Glock 17 9mm pistol and a quantity of fentanyl from his possession. A subsequent search of a storage unit in Dunbar, to which Jenkins had a key, yielded over 5,300 pills containing fentanyl and other substances, as well as three additional firearms.
Jenkins’ guilty plea is part of a larger federal investigation into a drug trafficking organization (DTO) operating in the Charleston area. He is one of 16 individuals indicted in connection with the DTO, with seven defendants, including Jenkins, pleading guilty. Four additional defendants have pleaded guilty in separate cases related to the investigation.
Jenkins is scheduled to be sentenced on July 20, 2026, and faces a mandatory minimum of five years and up to life in prison, as well as at least three years of supervised release and a fine of up to $2,250,000.00. The indictment against the remaining defendants is pending, with all defendants presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
