Muskogee, Oklahoma – In a stunning turn of events, KENNETH TODD PUCKETT, the 40-year-old drug kingpin from Garland, Texas, has entered a guilty plea for Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine. The charges stem from a joint investigation by the Choctaw Nation Tribal Police and federal agencies including the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Puckett’s downfall began in March 2013 when he was indicted on the federal charges. The Information against him alleged that on September 4, 2013, within the Eastern District of Oklahoma, Puckett intentionally possessed a mixture or substance containing detectable amounts of methamphetamine, a Schedule II Controlled Substance.

The hearing was presided over by the Honorable Steven P. Shreder, Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, located in Muskogee. As of now, Puckett remains in the custody of the United States Marshal Service pending sentencing.
