A brazen heist rocked Nashville in June 2018 when three masked individuals stormed Music City Pawn on Nolensville Pike, making off with 11 firearms and nearly $8,000 in cash.
Among those convicted in the heist is Herbert Marsh, 31, who was found guilty on six counts, including conspiracy, robbery, theft, possession of stolen firearms, being a convicted felon in possession of firearms, and witness tampering.
Mash was acquitted of brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence.
Two other individuals, James Horton, 27, and Hakeem Mannie, 32, previously pleaded guilty to the charges. Mannie was sentenced to 176 months in prison in January 2019, while Horton awaits sentencing.
The trio entered the store wearing masks and gloves, with one individual armed with a handgun equipped with an extended magazine and a weapon-mounted light. Two employees were ordered to the ground and bound with cable, while one employee was dragged to the rear of the store and ordered to open the safe.
Following the heist, the assailants fled the store in a U-Haul van, which was later recovered at Marsh’s sister’s house. Five stolen firearms were also found in a BMW stopped by Metropolitan Nashville police officers for a traffic violation.
Marsh faces up to 20 years in prison when he is sentenced later this year.
