James Quindale Page, Bank Robbery, California 2013

James Quindale Page, a 42-year-old man from Pittsburg, California, has been indicted for robbing six banks in the East Bay area. The indictment was announced by United States Attorney Melinda Haag.

According to the indictment, Page robbed the following banks:

– Chase Bank on March 6, 2013, at 1510 Palos Verdes Mall in Walnut Creek, making off with $1,856.

– Wells Fargo on March 12, 2013, at 4767 Hopyard Road in Pleasanton, stealing $670.

– Bank of America on May 29, 2013, at 2545 Main Street in Oakley, taking $1,507.

– Chase Bank on June 3, 2013, at 5747 Christie Avenue in Emeryville, swiping $7,033.

– US Bank on June 7, 2013, at 3636 Lone Tree Way in Antioch, stealing $1,280.

– Wells Fargo on June 8, 2013, at 3525 Mount Diablo Boulevard in Lafayette, making off with $5,450.

Page was arrested on June 10, 2013, and made his initial appearance in federal court in Oakland on June 13, 2013. He is currently in custody.

The maximum statutory penalty for each count of bank robbery is 20 years in prison. However, any sentence following conviction would be imposed by the court after consideration of the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and the federal statute governing the imposition of a sentence.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Brian C. Lewis is prosecuting the case with the assistance of Janice Pagsanjan. The investigation was conducted by the FBI, the Walnut Creek Police Department, the Pleasanton Police Department, the Antioch Police Department, the Oakley Police Department, the Emeryville Police Department, and the Lafayette Police Department.

Please note, an indictment contains only allegations against an individual and, as with all defendants, Page must be presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

Page’s next scheduled appearance is at 9:30 a.m. on June 27, 2013, for arraignment on the indictment before U.S. Magistrate Judge Donna M. Ryu.
