In a shocking turn of events, Javier Eduardo Ruiz-Guerra, a 35-year-old resident of Chicago, was taken into custody by the federal authorities in December 2020, in connection with a violent crime that sent shockwaves throughout the community.
Ruiz-Guerra was charged with multiple counts of violent crime, including kidnapping, armed robbery, and attempted murder, all of which were allegedly committed in the span of a single night in October 2020.
