GREAT FALLS — A man from Browning, Montana, has admitted to assault charges after holding a knife to a person’s throat and stabbing another person who attempted to help.

Jaylin John Ridesatthedoor, 19, pleaded guilty to assault with a dangerous weapon and to assault resulting in serious bodily injury.

According to court documents, the incident occurred on June 28, 2022, near Browning, on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation.
