Jeannette Resident Autumn McClellan Sentenced for Fentanyl Distribution

PITTSBURGH – Jeannette resident Autumn McClellan, 31, has been handed a four-year sentence for her role in a fentanyl distribution conspiracy, according to United States Attorney Scott W. Brady.

The judge’s decision followed the revelation that McClellan was part of a criminal syndicate that dealt substantial amounts of fentanyl to addicts.

McClellan, who resides in Jeanette, Pennsylvania, faced federal charges for conspiracy to distribute fentanyl after information presented to the court confirmed her involvement in the scheme.

The sentence, imposed by United States District Judge David S. Cercone, also includes four years of supervised release post-prison.

Assistant United States Attorney Brendan T. Conway led the prosecution against McClellan on behalf of the government.

In a statement, US Attorney Brady lauded the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Penn Hills Police Department for their pivotal roles in the investigation that led to McClellan’s conviction.

McClellan’s sentence serves as a stark reminder of the dangers posed by the illegal drug trade and the efforts being made to combat it at the federal level.
