Jeremiah James Little Wounded, Distribution of a Controlled Substance, South Dakota 2016

In a shocking turn of events, a local man has been accused of distributing a controlled substance in Eagle Butte, South Dakota.

According to reports, 36-year-old Jeremiah James Little Wounded was indicted by a federal grand jury on November 9, 2016, for three counts of Distribution of a Controlled Substance.

The indictment alleges that Little Wounded knowingly and intentionally distributed a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance, on July 7, 18, and 22, 2016.

The maximum penalty upon conviction is 20 years in custody and/or a $1,000,000 fine, a lifetime of supervised release, and payment of $300 to the Federal Crime Victims Fund. Restitution may also be ordered.
