Rochester Man Admits To Bank Robbery
A 47-year-old Rochester man has admitted to robbing a bank in the city. Jerry Little, a resident of Rochester, NY, pleaded guilty to bank robbery before U.S. District Judge Charles J. Siragusa.
According to the investigation, Little robbed the First Niagara Bank located at 2255 East Ridge Road in Rochester on an unknown date. During the robbery, Little handed a teller a note, which read, “this is a robbery,” and demanded all of the money in the teller’s top drawer.
The teller complied, and the defendant left the bank with the money.
The charges against Jerry Little carry a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
The plea is the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Rochester Police Department, and the New York State Police.
Sentencing for Jerry Little is scheduled for September 14, 2017, at 9:15 a.m., before Judge Siragusa.
