A former member of the Aryan Brotherhood, Jimmy Jack Pinkley, has been sentenced to 18 years and four months in federal prison without parole for methamphetamine trafficking.
Pinkley, 45, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Brian C. Wimes in federal court for possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.
According to court documents, on January 17, 2021, Pinkley was stopped by a Christian County Sheriff’s deputy while driving a stolen Dodge Charger. Inside the vehicle, the deputy found a brown leather bag containing approximately 177 grams of 97% pure methamphetamine.
Pinkley admitted to investigators that he had obtained the methamphetamine from his supplier in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the previous day. He also stated that he had been selling methamphetamine for approximately six months and received approximately one pound of methamphetamine during each trip to Oklahoma City.
In addition to the methamphetamine found in the vehicle, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at Pinkley’s residence, where they found a loaded Maverick 12-gauge shotgun, a small baggie of methamphetamine, and a set of digital scales.
Pinkley’s criminal history dates back to 1997, when he was first convicted for possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute. Since then, he has been convicted of eight different cases involving possession, possession with the intent to distribute, or manufacturing a controlled substance.
Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Cameron A. Beaver prosecuted the case, which was investigated by the Christian County Sheriff’s Department, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the Stone County Sheriff’s Department.
Pinkley’s involvement with the Aryan Brotherhood spans over 20 years, with him joining the gang during his first stint in state prison. He showed investigators his patch to the gang.
