A federal investigation into a conspiracy has led to a 54-year-old Eufaula man being sentenced to 46 months in prison.
Muskogee, Oklahoma – Jon Paul Shropshire, age 54, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, was sentenced to 46 months imprisonment, followed by 3 years of supervised release for Conspiracy, in Violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 371.
The charge is a result of an investigation by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics.
Shropshire was indicted in April, 2013 and pled guilty in May, 2014.
The Information alleged that from in or about September, 2011, until on or about September 26, 2012, within the Eastern District of Oklahoma and elsewhere, the defendant, did knowingly and intentionally conspire, confederate and agree with others both known and unknown to commit offenses against the United States.
The Honorable James H. Payne, District Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, in Muskogee, presided over the hearing.
Assistant United States Attorney Shannon Henson represented the United States.
