Belington, West Virginia resident Jonathan Andrew Swiger, 33, has admitted to a serious drug charge that could land him behind bars for life.
According to a recent plea deal, Swiger pleaded guilty to one count of ‘Possession with Intent to Distribute more than 50 Grams of Methamphetamine.’
The crime, which took place in February 2021 in Taylor County, West Virginia, carries a significant sentence. Swiger faces at least 10 years and up to life incarceration.
Additionally, Swiger could be fined up to $10,000,000, as per federal sentencing guidelines. However, the actual sentence will be determined by the severity of the crime and Swiger’s prior criminal history, if any.
