Jordan Antonio Sullivan, Second Degree Murder, Arizona 2023

PHOENIX, Ariz. – On Friday, Jordan Antonio Sullivan, 24, of Sacaton, Arizona, an enrolled member of the Gila River Indian Community, was sentenced to a total of 25 years in prison, followed by five years of supervised release.

Sullivan previously pleaded guilty to Second Degree Murder and Using a Firearm During a Crime of Violence.

On March 23, 2020, Sullivan shot the victim in the neck with a shotgun before hitting the victim in the back of the head with the gun. Sullivan then stole the victim’s car and ran over the victim to ensure he was dead.

Sullivan will serve his 25 years in federal prison after completing a state sentence for Second Degree Murder. In the state case, CR-2020-116748-001, he was sentenced to 18 years for a murder he committed in April 2020.

The Gila River Police and the FBI conducted the investigation in this case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Raynette Logan handled the prosecution.

Sullivan will serve his 25 years in federal prison after completing an 18-year state sentence for Second Degree Murder.
