Tampa, Florida Man Indicted for Sex Trafficking, Faces Life in Federal Prison
Tampa, Florida – In a shocking revelation, 32-year-old Jordan O’Keefe Woods, a resident of Seffner, has been indicted on two counts of sex trafficking and two counts of inducement to travel to engage in prostitution. The indictment, returned on an undisclosed date, but made available after the government shutdown, charges Woods with knowingly trafficked Victim 1, using means of force, threats of force, fraud, and coercion to cause the victim to engage in a commercial sex act.
According to the indictment, the alleged crimes took place on or about September 22, 2024, and July 22, 2025. Additionally, Woods is accused of knowingly persuading, inducing, enticing, and coercing Victim 1 to travel from North Carolina to Florida to engage in prostitution and sexual activity on or about September 20, 2024, and July 20, 2025.
The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations and the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, and will be prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Courtney Derry.
