In a shocking turn of events, Jorge Luis Porras, a 35-year-old ex-convict, was charged with federal crimes in Illinois in November 2018. According to court documents, Porras was accused of committing violent crimes, including assault, battery, and intimidation.

The case, filed on November 20, 2018, in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (ILND Federal District), revealed that Porras had a history of violent behavior. The defendant was alleged to have committed these crimes between January 2018 and March 2018.
