Spokane, WA – Residents of Spokane are facing a rise in crime, but the U.S. Attorney’s Office is stepping up to make a difference. On Tuesday, August 7th, members from the Eastern District of Washington will participate in community events as part of Spokane’s National Night Out Against Crime.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.

This year’s event is a crucial moment for the people of Spokane, who have been plagued by rising crime rates. The U.S. Attorney’s Office is committed to working with the community to make a positive impact.
