On May 28, 2013, Juan Carlos Flores, a 32-year-old man, was charged in the ILND Federal District Court in Illinois for his alleged involvement in a series of violent crimes. According to the indictment, Flores was accused of engaging in a pattern of racketeering activity, conspiracy to commit murder, and obstruction of justice. The indictment alleged that Flores was a high-ranking member of a violent street gang, responsible for orchestrating several murders, assaults, and other violent crimes in the Chicago area.
