On February 13, 2018, Juan Carlos Rodriguez, a 35-year-old resident of Chicago, Illinois, was indicted on multiple charges related to violent crimes in the ILND Federal District Court.
According to court documents, Rodriguez was accused of committing a string of armed robberies in the Chicago metropolitan area between June and August 2017. Following a lengthy investigation by the FBI and local law enforcement, Rodriguez was apprehended on August 15, 2017. He was subsequently held in custody pending trial.
