WASHINGTON – A top Justice official will outline her 2011 priorities for the Environment and Natural Resources Division, sparking concerns about potential crackdowns on environmental crimes.
Assistant Attorney General Ignacia S. Moreno is set to deliver remarks before the Washington, D.C., Bar Association’s Environment, Energy and Natural Resources Section on Thursday, January 13, 2011, at 12:00 P.M. EST.
The event, scheduled to take place at Hunton & Williams, 1900 K St., N.W., Washington, D.C., will give Moreno a platform to discuss her vision for the division in the coming year.
Following her remarks, Moreno will hold a pen and pad briefing with reporters at 2:30 P.M. EST in the ENRD Conference Room – Room 2143, 950 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.
According to the Justice official’s office, all media must present government-issued photo I.D. (such as a driver’s license) as well as valid media credentials to attend the speech or participate in the pen and pad briefing.
