Justin Case Lebarron, Fentanyl Trafficking, Florida 2021

A federal jury has delivered a guilty verdict against Justin Case Lebarron (28, Pasco County), a Pasco man accused of trafficking fentanyl that resulted in a fatal overdose in January 2020.

According to testimony presented at trial, Lebarron and others operated a drug house in New Port Richey where they sold fentanyl and methamphetamine to addicts.

On the night of January 7, 2020, a fatal overdose occurred in the house. Lebarron ordered three people to carry the victim’s body outside and dump it in an empty lot as he fled the area.

A few hours later, Lebarron resumed distributing fentanyl and methamphetamine and continued to do so until his arrest on March 5, 2020.

Lebarron faces a mandatory sentence of life in federal prison due to a prior felony drug conviction. His sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 17, 2021.

The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Pasco Sheriff’s Office as part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) investigation.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Dan Baeza.
