Kirstin Sue Jackson, 39, of the 200 block of Ripper Street, Pekin, was indicted on federal charges on September 21, 2021.

The indictment alleges that in May of 2021, Jackson acquired a firearm from Pekin Gun & Sporting Goods, Inc. after knowingly making a false and fictitious written statement, stating she was the actual buyer of the firearm.

Jackson was arrested on September 23, 2021, and is currently in the custody of the United States Marshal Service.

If convicted, the maximum statutory penalties for the alleged crimes charged are not more than 5 years imprisonment, 3 years supervised release, and a $250,000 fine.
