According to the indictment, Agyei-Baffour used his position at a world-renowned American investment bank to facilitate a scheme to bribe Ghanaian officials. He allegedly worked with senior executives at a Turkish company to make millions of dollars in profits by corrupting the fair competition process. The scheme involved bribing officials to secure a deal for the power plant, which was worth millions of dollars.
