CAMDEN, N.J. – Kyle Wilson, 22, of Fort Washington, Pa., pleaded guilty to three bank robberies in Pennsylvania, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced.
Wilson admitted to robbing three banks in Pennsylvania, including Citizens Bank in Montgomeryville, PNC Bank in Plymouth Meeting, and First Niagara Bank in Lower Providence Township.
The robberies occurred on March 6, 2013, March 11, 2013, and March 14, 2013, respectively.
Each of the three bank robbery counts carries a maximum potential penalty of 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000, or twice the gross amount of any pecuniary loss or gain from the offense.
Wilson is currently detained and is scheduled to be sentenced on June 9, 2014.
U.S. Attorney Fishman credited special agents of the Department of Labor, Office of Labor Racketeering and Fraud Investigations, the Department of Labor-Wage and Hour Division, Naval Criminal Investigative Service, and the Air Force Office of Special investigations for their assistance in the case.
The government is represented by Senior Litigation Counsel V. Grady O’Malley and Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew Bruck of the Organized Crime/Gangs Unit of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Newark.
Wilson’s defense counsel is Stanley O. King Esq. of Woodbury, N.J.
