A man has been arrested in connection with a 2015 cold case in Maryland, according to police. Joseph Edward D’Alessio was taken into custody on multiple sex offense charges.
The arrest was made on April 10, 2024 in Montgomery County, Maryland. D’Alessio is accused of committing the sex offenses in 2015.
The charges against D’Alessio include incest, sex abuse of a minor, and sex offense with a minor. The investigation into the cold case was reopened in 2023, and authorities were able to gather new evidence that led to D’Alessio’s arrest.
