Meth Pusher Gets 13 Years

⏱ 2 min read

A low-level dealer in Camden, South Carolina, got slammed with a 13-year sentence for peddling ice to undercover cops.

Angela Peterson Black, 53, thought she could make a quick buck by selling nearly 200 grams of ‘ice’ to agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in November 2022.

But the scheme unraveled when Lexington County Sheriff’s deputies found more narcotics in her ride during a traffic stop and at her pad during a search warrant in June 2023.

Black was busted in December 2023 and granted a bond. But while out on bail, she tried to pull a fast one on the system by using a fake pee sample. Her bond was revoked.

The judge wasn’t having it, sentencing Black to 160 months in the joint, followed by three years of supervised release.

Black’s rap sheet already featured a few prior convictions, including pointing a gun at someone and distributing meth.
