Miguel Gonzalez Segovia, Cocaine and Fentanyl Trafficking, Pennsylvania 2018

A California man has been indicted for trafficking large amounts of cocaine and fentanyl in Northampton County, Pennsylvania.

Miguel Gonzalez Segovia, 33, of Mira Loma, California, is charged with one count of possessing with the intent to distribute 5 kilograms or more of cocaine and 400 grams or more of fentanyl, the deadly synthetic opioid.

The crime allegedly took place on November 13, 2018, in Northampton County, Pennsylvania.

If convicted of all counts, Gonzalez Segovia faces a maximum sentence of life imprisonment, with a 10-year mandatory minimum term of imprisonment, a mandatory minimum of 5-years supervised release up to a lifetime of supervised release, a $10,000,000 fine, and a $100 special assessment.

The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Pennsylvania State Police. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Kelly A. Lewis Fallenstein.

Gonzalez Segovia is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
