On March 17, 2016, Maria Miranda-Rivera, a 32-year-old resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was charged in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland with multiple counts of violent crime.
The case, styled as United States v. Miranda-Rivera, was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, with the charges dating back to a series of violent incidents that took place in the city’s east side.
According to the indictment, Miranda-Rivera was accused of shooting and wounding three victims, including a 19-year-old male, a 28-year-old female, and a 35-year-old male, in separate incidents between January and February 2016.
