Unfortunately, a second victim fell out or was ejected from the cargo area of Connors’ truck and suffered injuries during the ordeal.

The investigation into the incident was led by Rosebud Sioux Tribe Law Enforcement Services, while Assistant United States Attorney Tim Maher will be prosecuting the case.

Connors, who appeared before United States District Judge Roberto A. Lange on January 9, 2013, was subsequently remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal.

This disturbing case highlights the dangers of reckless behavior on the roads and the importance of holding perpetrators accountable for their actions.
