Multiple defendants have been arrested in a joint enforcement operation conducted by federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies in Charleston County and Dorchester County, South Carolina.
According to a press conference scheduled for today, February 22, 2017, at 4:00pm in the lobby of North Charleston’s City Hall, the operation involved multiple defendants located in the area.
The press conference will be attended by representatives from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), ICE-Homeland Security Investigations, the North Charleston Police Department, the Charleston Police Department, the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office, the Ninth Circuit Solicitor’s Office, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

The enforcement operation was announced by United States Attorney Beth Drake, who stated that the joint enforcement effort was a collaborative effort between multiple agencies to address violent crime in the area.
