Multiple Indictments, Arrests for Drug Distribution and Firearms Violations as a Part of Homeland Security Task Force Investigation
A federal grand jury has returned multiple indictments and arrests for drug distribution and firearms violations as part of a Homeland Security Task Force investigation. The indictment charges multiple defendants with conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances, including fentanyl, heroin, and methamphetamine.
The indictment also charges the defendants with various firearms violations, including possession of firearms in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. The investigation was conducted by the Homeland Security Task Force, which includes agents from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations, and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
The indictment was returned on March 12, 2024 and was unsealed upon the arrest of the defendants. The defendants are scheduled to appear in court on April 15, 2024 for their initial appearances.
