Najiy Williams, Inducement to Travel to Engage in Criminal Sexual Activity, Georgia 2023
A sex trafficking operation leader in Macon, Georgia, has been sentenced to 174 months in prison. Najiy Williams, also known as ‘King’, was found guilty of Inducement to Travel to Engage in Criminal Sexual Activity. He will serve 174 months in prison, pay a $250,000 fine, and face a lifetime of supervised release. His cohort, Hamza Abdul Vasser, was sentenced to 21 months imprisonment and a lifetime of supervised release for Transportation for Illegal Sexual Activity.
The sex trafficking operation involved seven adult women who were forced to engage in sex acts in hotel rooms across the southeast, including Charleston, South Carolina, and Valdosta, Georgia, between September 2015 and February 2017. One victim reported engaging in over 550 sex acts.
According to investigators, the victims responded to advertisements for models and actors posted on websites such as Craigslist. One victim even traveled from Ohio to Macon, Georgia, in response to an online advertisement for a film audition.
Najiy Williams and his accomplice, Hamza Abdul Vasser, showed a complete disregard for the women they coerced into sex trafficking. The FBI and local law enforcement agencies worked together to end the operation and rescue the victims.

In a statement, U.S. Attorney Charles E. Peeler said, ‘There is no place for human sex trafficking in our community. It is degrading to the victims and is otherwise a blight on society.’
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was instrumental in bringing the operation to an end. ‘The FBI thanks our state and local law enforcement partners for their assistance in taking these two predators off our streets and helping us rescue their victims,’ said Chris Hacker, Special Agent in Charge of FBI Atlanta.
