A Philadelphia man, Nasir White, 30, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for conspiring to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine in New Jersey.
The sentence was handed down by U.S. District Judge Robert B. Kugler on November 21, 2022, in Camden federal court.
According to documents filed in this case and statements made in court, White and Shawn McGuriman were arrested on October 9, 2019 with 204 grams of methamphetamine, which they planned to sell to another person.
McGuriman previously pleaded guilty to his role in the conspiracy and was sentenced in August 2021 to 10 years in prison.
In addition to the prison term, Judge Kugler sentenced White to five years of supervised release.
U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger credited special agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), under the direction of Special Agent in Charge Susan A. Gibson, with the investigation leading to today’s sentencing.
The government is represented by Deputy U.S. Attorney Andrew Carey of the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
